Review:
This week we took a trip south and ended up at a new destination for the Mamils team of The Crown at Gissing.
We had a nice cold, but dry evening for our 27 miles to the pub and were very please to find the heating on and a radiator behind the table we were seated at. 🙂
The pub is a nice mix of old and new, a traditional pub front and main bar with a newly refurbished restaurant at the back of the building.
The menu has some good choices and is very reasonalby priced too.
Tonights meals:
3 X Crown Burgers
Ed – With Bacon
Nick – With Chilli
Steve – WIth Blue Cheese
The burgers were all massive, with onion rings and a very good plateful of chips too. They were ground steak mince too, served in a decent bun, if anything maybe too large, but enjoyed by all, as usual.
