The review from our first visit.
The first revisit of the year. This time we managed a pop a trip to the coast in as well, with a ride that saw us take in Mundesley first and then a loop back to the Banningham Crown.
An uneventful and enjoyable ride this week with no punctures and no getting lost on the way either. The weather was perfect, light winds but and sunny until we got to the pub, with a bit of a chill on the ride home.
The menu choices were;
Ed & Steve – Crispy Chilli Chicken Strips
Howard – Malaysian Vegetable Curry
Chickpea, sweet potato and spinach in a fragrant coconut curry sauce served with rice, mango chutney and homemade flatbread.
Nick & Mike – Pork Burger
Homemade pork burger topped with blue cheese and onion rings in a toasted floured bun served with red cabbage coleslaw, skinny fries and salad.
Chris – Beef Bourguignon
Prime beef braised in red wine with garlic, onions, pancetta lardons and mushrooms served with wholegrain mustard mash.
As before all meals were really good, but the burger was
