Back to the MAMILS roots once again and a nice ride to a Fish and Chip shop, no where near the coast for this visit though.

This week saw us ride to the town of Watton south west of Norwich.

A fairly uneventful trip there, apart from a chain slipping off for Steve and really good riding conditions meant it was a reasonable quick trip with 26 miles to our destination of Little Gary’s Fish & Chips.

The fish and chip shop has seating and offers a table service and of course provides first class fish and chips!

Nick – Jumbo Sausage and Chips and Bread Roll

Rob – Large Plaice and Chips with Mushy Peas

Ed, Chris & Mike – Cod and Chips with Mushy Peas

Steve – Scampi and Chips

All the food seemed to be cooked to order and was very tasty, if a little on the large side and for once a few of us were defeated and actually had to leave some.

As the temperature had dropped quite a lot for the journey home we took the decision to not stop at a pub and take the most direct route back to Norwich.

With another puncture for Ed on the way back it was probably the best decision and meant we weren’t too late home.
