Review:
This week is back to a pub we ride past a lot, the Bell at Wortwell. Looking forward to one of they’re legendary Korean Kimchee burgers!
The ride out started off OK, a bit of light drizzle met us as we got a few miles out of Norwich which soon, unfortunately, turned into quite heavy rain! We made it to the pub quite wet and were very glad of the open fire to warm up and dry off a bit.
It seems the Bell has been taken over and the menu has changed, they no longer have the Korean burger on there, so I decided to go for the ‘Special’ burger which sounded promising, with Burger, on a poppy seeded roll, cheese and bacon, served with fries. Shame it didn’t deliver. the burger wasn’t great and tasted like a frozen one that hadn’t been cooked all that well, most of the meals were OK but nothing was good like we were used to.

Nick & Rob: Special Burger
Howard – Liver & Bacon
Steve – Stilton Chicken
The ride home had a puncture for Rob, which was fixed in record time, a little bit of rain accompanied us too, but not for long.
We shan’t be rushing back in a hurry though.
