The Black Boys – Aylsham

This week and we’re back to Aylsham and the Black Boys Inn, the weather forecast for the return journey was very cold so we needed a destination where we could use a main road if required.

The ride there was quite chilly, but the night was clear and the sky was amazing. As the ride was short we arrived very early and ordered the following;

Chris & Mike – Classic Black Boys burger served in a toasted brioche bun, hand cut chips, bacon, Swiss cheese & onion rings 

Steve – Wild mushroom spaghetti ‘Bolognese’ with charred king oyster mushrooms, pesto & mozzarella

Nick – Green Thai style boneless chicken thigh curry with steamed coriander rice, prawn crackers & vegetable spring roll

Mike – Slow braised venison & redcurrant casserole with creamy mash, herb dumplings & shredded brussel sprouts

The meals and the service as always were fantastic, as we arrived early we also left early and missed any of the colder forecast weather.
