This week we headed south to the very small parish of Wheatacre. Unfortunately for us, it started to rain as we met in Norwich and didn’t stop until we arrived at the pub, by which time we were as soaked as you can get!
Only I and Ed made it to the pub, as Howard had an issue with some new prescription glasses and had to turn back with Steve accompanying him to escape the rain.
The rain stopped as soon as we arrived at the pub and it didn’t start again until we arrived back in Norwich, for another soaking!
Tonight’s orders:
Nick & Ed – Gourment burger all homemade from top to bottom, with beer bacon jam, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, mayo, tomato, gherkin and lettuce served with coleslaw and triple cooked hand-cut chips.
