This weeks visit is another trip south this time to the village of Burston near Diss.

The weather (for April) was amazing, with a warm and sunny evening for our ride to The Crown although the temperature did drop slightly for the return journey.

Another puncture free ride for the team of 7 this week too.

We arrived early and as the fire wasn’t alight, headed straight for the table, this week’s choices were;

1 Homemade Beef Burger in a Brioche roll with chips and salad. Cheese or bacon £1 extra

1 Homemade Lasagne served with salad

4 Grilled Seabass with a Prawn & Samphire Risotto

1 Roast Supreme of Chicken stuffed with a Herb & Paprika Butter crushed Potatoes & Baby Leeks

The burger was good, 5 stars good, the menu undersells it a bit, it’s a full-on ground steak burger, left pink in the middle served in a Brioche Bun. I took the option of cheese for £1 too, really tasty!  The burger and bun lasted together for my whole meal too, nothing fell apart. The chips were chunky and good, just a few more would’ve helped on the ride home.
