This week is a trip to somewhere we haven’t been for a while, a local favourite winter destination in The Green Dragon at Wymondham. One of the oldest pubs in England.
The weather was unseasonably warm at over 10 degrees all evening. A pleasant ride out via a circuitous route lead us to arrive at the pub for 7:30.
It was fairly busy which lead to a lengthy wait for our orders to be taken and the food to arrive, but it was worth the wait.
Tonight’s Orders:
Ed – Fish Pie
Steve – Jackfruit Wrap in BBQ sauce
Nick – Green Dragon Burger – with cheese
Howard – Fish and Chips
Chris – Hunters Chicken
Mike – Chili Con Carne & Chips
Julian – Liver and Bacon
Dave – Chili Con Carne & Rice
The burger was OK, nothing special, not that well presented and the cheese that topped it was quite strong so you couldn’t really taste the burger too well, but the other meals were all enjoyed and soon devoured
A small diversion on the ride home due to a closed road but nothing eventful meant another early arrival home.
