It was a fairly chilly ride out this week to the Earle Arms in Heydon, with a stop along the way at Blicking Hall for the annual photoshoot, although this year not quite so many brave volunteers turned out for the occasion!
We then battled a rather blustery headwind to ride to the Earle Arms and enjoy, for most of us, a full 3 course Christmas meal.
This is the one time of the year where no matter if you’ve been out on every ride of the year or none at all then you turn up and enjoy the festivities (eating and drinking)
The meal was a very good Christmas dinner and my first one of the year, aside from the starter of chicken tikka the rest was full on traditional festive feast, Roast Turkey and all the trimmings and Christmas pudding for desert.
It was then just a nice rather full but gentle ride home.
