Tonight’s ride is a new one for the website but a revisit for the MAMILs. Following almost the same route out of Norwich as last week we headed to the rather handy Reedham Ferry to cross the river and then onward to the town of Upton The ride was good, with the weather being kind to us again apart from a strong wind which was mainly a side wind for most of the journey. A pleasant ride with a small break as we crossed the river at Reedham on the ferry.

Tonight’s Orders:

Nick – Jaellenpo’s and Monterey Jack Burger, served in a soft bap with mayonnaise, crisp lettuce and sliced tomato with beer-battered
onion rings, chips and salad.

Ed – Smoked haddock, salmon, cod and king prawns
in a creamy parsley sauce topped with mashed
potato and cheese, and served with crusty bread and salad

Howard – Today’s curry served with rice, onion bhaji, poppadum and mango chutney

Steve – Southern Fried Chicken Burger served in a soft bap with mayonnaise, crisp lettuce and sliced tomato with beer-battered onion rings, chips and salad.

The burger was a good burger with plenty of toppings of my chosen Jalepenos and Cheese, my only issue with it was it was quite a ‘meaty’ patty which made eating it quite tough without using a knife and fork….mainly just becuase the bun broke up before the burger…but I think this was due to the amount of cheese meltiing through it.  Happily go back and try another one though!
