Tonight’s ride was a new destination for both the website and the MAMILS team as we headed to The Star at Lessingham. We managed to take in the coast along the way with a quick stop at Bacton observing the surfers enjoying the evening offerings from the North Sea. Our ride was uneventful apart from Phil’s light deciding to jump off his handlebars giving way to Steve to ride straight over it.

Tonight’s Orders

Nick & Rob Grilled Norfolk Sausages with Mustard Mash, Rich Gravy & Vegetables

Steve Sizzling Vegetable Fajita’s served with 2 Tortilla Wraps, Soured Cream, Salsa Sauce & Vegetables.

Phil Beer Battered Cod Fillet with Chips & Peas

Ed Seabass Fillet served with a Creamy Wild Mushroom Sauce on Herb Mash & Vegetables

Chris Grilled Gammon with Egg, Pineapple, Chips & Peas

Howard Pan-fried Lambs Liver & Bacon served on Red Onion Mash with a Rich Gravy

The meals were all very good and the portion size didn’t disappoint either, the gammon was a little too big for Chris and he managed to leave a few chips for Ed & Howard to help him with.

It was a little disappointing to find there was no burger on the menu, but we’ve been assured by the chef, if we return and let them know we want burgers then there will be a selection of hand made burgers for us to choose from so we can hopefully add them to the top 10, a challenge we are bound to accept.
