This week to us south to the town of Brockdsih In a break from the normal weekly reviews, The Old Kings Head specialises in Pizza and Pasta and it’s something they do rather well too, so this week there is no review on a burger.

But it’s all good!  We’ve been here a few times before, but this is the first time since setting up the website.

There were only 4 of us out on the ride this week and we all had different orders, all perfectly cooked with plenty of toppings too.

We ordered;

Nick – Spiced Norfolk Sausage Pizza £9.95

Ed – Anchovy and Capers with an added topping of garlic mushrooms

Howard – Chicken, Sultana & Pine nuts

Steve – Pecornio, Rocket and walnut

 All the pizzas are stone baked and were very tasty, a bit of slice swapping took place and there were no disappointments nor any slices left.

 The beers served here are all local to East Anglia and they have over 150 gins on offer too.

As well as this the pub also features a Cafe for coffee and cakes during the day.

The ride ended with Ed getting a puncture as we arrived back in Norwich, shortly followed by another one less than 1/4 mile once repaired.
