Continuing our ‘ping pong’ tours of North and South Norfolk, this week was back to the North and a trip to the North Norfolk Coast and the delights of Salthouse.
The Dun Cow was our chosen destination for this week’s ride and feast, with a pleasant tailwind to assist us to our table!
Although it was very busy when we arrived we managed to get a table fairly easily and get our orders in promptly.
The service was very impressive and we were happy to be on our way home just within the hour, which with a 30-mile journey ahead is just what’s required.
The pub has plenty of tables and they turn them round really quickly, a good range of beers are on offer too and there was nothing at fault with the food!
We were also greeted by special guest and life long MAMILS John and Dave who had ridden there earlier.
This weeks food orders were;
Steve – 1 X Fresh Local Crab Linguini with chilli, mint and lime
Howard – X Fish and Chips served with fat chips, garden peas and tartar sauce.
